Using the service

These terms apply to your use of BanglaConverter.pro. Please read them before using the converter. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

The website provides free, browser-based conversion between Bijoy-compatible ANSI text and Bangla Unicode. No account is required. You may use the converter for personal or professional work, subject to these terms and the rights of others.

What the converter does

The tool changes the encoding of pasted text. It does not translate languages, provide phonetic typing, convert uploaded documents or extract text from scanned images. Formatting from the source document is not preserved.

Bijoy output needs a compatible legacy font, such as SutonnyMJ, in the receiving application. You are responsible for obtaining any fonts or third-party software you use under their applicable licences.

Check your results

Conversion results can vary with source encoding, mixed fonts, damaged characters and unusual letter combinations. We do not guarantee that every input will convert accurately or that the output will suit every publishing application.

Keep a copy of your original text and proofread the output before publishing, printing or relying on it. Check conjuncts, vowel signs, numbers and punctuation against the source.

Your text and your rights

You retain any rights you hold in the text you enter. Using the converter does not transfer ownership of your input or output to us. Converting text does not give you rights to content that belongs to someone else.

Only use text that you are entitled to process, and respect applicable copyright, privacy and other legal obligations when using or sharing the results.

Acceptable use

Use the website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other visitors. Do not attempt to compromise its security, gain unauthorised access, distribute malicious code or deliberately overload the service.

Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats or disruption to the service.

Privacy and local processing

Text conversion takes place in your browser. The converter does not upload your input or output for server-side conversion or maintain a saved conversion history. Copying text places it on your device’s clipboard at your request.

Availability and responsibility

The converter is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, technical problems or changes to the website may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser or application.

You are responsible for keeping your original documents and checking converted text for your intended use. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes rights you have under applicable law.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Updates apply prospectively and do not remove rights that have already arisen.
