About the converter

BanglaConverter.pro provides browser-based conversion between Bijoy-compatible ANSI text and Bangla Unicode. The tool changes text encoding; it does not translate, check spelling, certify documents or preserve document layout.

Examples and instructions on this website explain common conversion workflows. They cannot cover every source encoding, font or publishing application.

Conversion accuracy

We aim to provide useful conversions, but cannot guarantee error-free results for every input. Mixed encodings, damaged source text, unusual character combinations and differences between legacy fonts can affect the output.

Keep your original text and compare it with the converted result before publishing, printing or submitting a document. Pay particular attention to conjuncts, vowel signs, names, numbers and punctuation. A successful conversion message means the operation completed; it does not certify the accuracy of the text.

Fonts and application compatibility

Bijoy-compatible output needs a suitable legacy font, such as SutonnyMJ, in the application where you use it. Unicode output needs a font and application that support Bangla Unicode. Text may appear differently across browsers, word processors and page-layout software.

Check the final document in its intended application and review a print preview or proof when preparing material for print. Conversion alone does not guarantee that line breaks, spacing or layout will match the original.

Third-party names and products

References to Bijoy, SutonnyMJ and other third-party names describe text formats, fonts or compatibility. Their use does not imply endorsement or sponsorship by the respective owners. Any third-party fonts or software remain subject to their own licences and terms.

Availability and your rights

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device, browser or application. Keep your own copies of source documents and any converted text you need to retain.
